Hello! My name is Makenzie McIntyre, and I am a senior Interior Design student at Western Kentucky University, graduating in 2026. I am passionate about creating spaces that are not only functional but also inspiring. My goal is to design environments where people feel comfortable, empowered, and deeply connected to the spaces they inhabit.

Interior design has been a constant in my life. From a young age, I have had a natural inclination to curate spaces that promote comfort, safety, and a sense of well-being. Through my work, I strive to create that same feeling for others.

Throughout my studio experience, I have developed strong skills in conceptual development, space planning, and material and finish selection. I have also gained proficiency in industry-standard softwares, including Revit and AutoCAD. I approach each project with curiosity, exploring thoughtful solutions that balance aesthetics and functionality.

I am currently seeking a summer internship where I can contribute my skills, collaborate with experienced professionals, and continue growing as a designer.
