A look into my Hand Drafting skills.

This collection highlights my understanding of architectural hand drafting and scaled drawing. Using an architectural scale, I developed accurate room plans and elevations that demonstrate spatial awareness, proportion, and technical precision. These drawings reflect my ability to represent interior elements using industry drafting standards and conventions.

The project below is a residential configuration completed in my first studio course. We were given a two-bedroom, one-bath plan and tasked with selecting furniture and thoughtfully planning each layout, supported by scaled drawings showing placement and proportion.

The final presentation includes detailed room drawings, a kitchen elevation, and a flooring plan illustrating material transitions. This project strengthened my understanding of spatial planning, furniture specification, and cohesive residential design.

These drawings present a bar and grill concept centered on accessibility and comfort for patrons with disabilities who prefer a more private sports-viewing experience. A secluded booth with individual TVs and headphones creates an immersive yet quieter environment.

Complementing the inclusive layout, the space embraces a vintage aesthetic, highlighted by a mosaic beaded light fixture that adds warmth and visual interest. The design merges functionality with character, resulting in a space that is both inviting and thoughtfully tailored to diverse needs.

This drawing represents a conceptual café design. We were challenged to address an awkward wall on the left side of the layout, which I transformed into a feature through vertical wood paneling. To balance this warmth with a contemporary edge, I specified subway tile along the front of the counter. Together, these materials create a cohesive design that feels both grounded and current.
