The Crooked Nook Cafe
Fall Semester 2025
The Crooked Nook Café is my interpretation of a Portland, Oregon inspired coffeehouse designed to cultivate both craft and community. Centered around a dynamic architectural point in the building’s footprint, the café features a stage, inviting live music, local art, and shared experiences. As part of the design process, we developed custom detailing in AutoCAD for the espresso bar. I created a triangular pattern that allows mosaic glass to peek through, adding texture, depth, and a subtle play of light that enhances the café’s artistic atmosphere.
